Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat - The Harmony of Movement and Stillness

Our beloved teaching team of Seonaid Espiner and Toni Calder open Dharma Gaia’s retreat season with their unique blend of joy movement and stillness.

And we are supported by the wonderful conditions of resting into the grace of nature, the community of Mindful Living, and the tranquility of presence.

We allow ourselves the gift to simply arrive. - to arrive home to ‘Being’

Our teachers will weave our being seamlessly through periods of formal practice - of yoga, sitting and walking meditation, and informal contemplation, and deep presence practice. The retreat will unfold in a gentle contemplative energy, of resting and listening to body heart and mind.

Seonaid is a long-term student of Sister Shalom and a resident Dharma Teacher at Dharma Gaia. She arrived at the Dharma door with a strong academic background and experience of facilitation in music, embodiment philosophy, and teaching. which she blends so skillfully into her Dharma life. Through her years of dedicated practical experience of both formal and informal practice she embodies living mindfully in everyday life and shares this through her teaching her love of gardening, poetry, and singing.

Toni is a Somatic Yin Yoga facilitator who did her training with Stella Goetz 2020. And has also trained in Trauma-informed Yin Yoga - teacher training with Amanda Hanna in 2022. And completed  The Power of Awareness Mindfulness training online with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach in 2022. Toni has also done workshops in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy in November 2022.

Toni is a very special human being,, much loved and respected in her local community. she is.  Gentle and passionate about wellness, inspired by nature and the art of healing through the body.
