Loving the Earth Retreat #2

As with all retreats at Dharma Gaia we will continue to offer the formal foundation practices of sitting and walking meditation as well as nourishing our awareness and mindfulness in our daily activities

This retreat offers a further opportunity for all who wish to join us to deepen the joy of Living Mindfully., caring for each other and caring for the earth. This is a lovely gentle retreat for beginners and experienced practitioners. We welcome children and grandparents and extended whanau too

For some years now we have been planting trees in what we call the ‘Descendants Grove for our young people and for many of the wonderful volunteers who have come to support us This winter we are also developing and loved ones who have passed away. So we are doubling down on our commitment and energies to plant twice as many trees this year. We plant trees to nourish and protect Mother Earth and to deepen our loving connection with her and with each other. Growing in our wisdom of ‘Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet’ by Thich Nhat Hanh.

PLEASE BRING YOUR GUMBOOTS, WORKING GLOVES, AND SPADES IF YOU CAN. If you would like to plant a tree in the Ancestors Grove for any of your loved ones who have passed away, please email Anton at peace@dharmagaia.org so he can advise on what trees are suitable for the planting

$300 - $225 (sliding scale, please pay according to your financial capacity) +  DANA
